And you can find most of them on Amazon!
I'm a planner and I also like to know about new products that can make my life easier. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I did all the research because I literally had no clue about anything. I did the googling. I did the Tiktoking. Here is what I found that made my life easier for postpartum and baby products. I hope these can help you too!

1. OK - first things first. Breastfeeding. Nipples. How do I minimize the pain.
Anyone that is starting their breastfeeding journey is always worried about the pain or cracked nipples. Let's be real - breastfeeding isn't intuitive and its a skill that you have to learn, so its easy to say that its a journey.
The reviews are amazing. Everyone roared about how fast the Silverette nipple cups healed their cracked nipples. I found the same. I wore these over my nipples, under my bralette, and squeezed a little breastmilk into them so extra speedy healing. I recommend these to EVERYONE that is breastfeeding. Skip the nipple creams and use just these instead.

2. Diaper Pale. I was on the fence about it but I can't imagine not having it.
Some people will say you don't need a diaper pale. I read/watched people say they just use a regular garbage can or put the diapers in the garage. Well, that didn't work for me because I live in a condo...and a condo is only so big and I DID NOT want to smell poopy diapers.
Now what diaper can you ask? I opted out of the Genie because I didn't want to be tied to their garbage bags.

What I do recommend? I bought the Ubbi. What I love about it is that I can use any garbage bag with it. That's pretty much the selling point on this one. It seals in the smell so well. I never smell anything (unless I leave it open!). You can buy off amazon or West Coast Kids, but you could also find one for probably half the price on Facebook marketplace. So perhaps check there first!

3. Soothies - to use or not

This is a personal decision and many families choose not to introduce a soother - totally fine! If you are thinking about and wondering which smoothies are the best, I hear you. I was most worried about oral development and I didn't want to purchase the wrong shape. Through my research I found that the Nuk pacifiers were ortho recommended and super cute looking! You can buy them in 0-6 months and 6-18 with not using the same pair longer than 6 months.

4. Postpartum Vagina care
I'm just going to list the items I found to be great for postpartum heeling. If you plan on having a vaginal delivery. You want your postpartum care to be top notch and easy to access.
Peri bottle: The hospital will give you one but this one that is curved is SOOO much better. Peeing after birth stings LOL. You won't regret this bad boy. Find it here: https://amzn.to/3IvzdqR
Disposable Postpartum Underwear: I didn't think I would like these as much as I did. The hospital gave some basic white ones but they didn't last long. I find these ones by Frida were great. They are very comfy and I bought multiple boxes and only wore them. Regular underwear is always too tight and in the easy days after birth, you don't want anything tight around you. Frida Mom Ice Pads: Again, a Frida mom product. They just hit ok? All I'll say is these feel real nice on the vag. Find them here: https://amzn.to/4334XNw
5. Diapers and baby wipes
What diaper to buy? There are so many! There are a couple diapers that stand the test of time. I personally used Hello Bello. You can find them on amazon but also at Walmart or Superstore. My daughter is 13 months and I still use them along with the nighttime ones. For wipes, I wanted as close to water and unscented as possible. I've been using WaterWipes and they are wonderful.
6. Headed Blanket
I was a cold person before having a baby, and I certainly was postpartum. With the hormone changes and being low on iron - I had the shakes!! I love heated blankets. I use it all the time - baby or not LOL

There are many other items I could list, but these were the ones I use regularly and have ZERO regrets about. Hope it helps!
happy momming!
